How to Get What You Want
SELECT: Decide what it is you want
PROJECT: Visualize and put your wish out into the universe.
EXPECT: Expect that you WILL receive what you are wanting without exepetion! You have already received it, so wait for it to manifest.
COLLECT: Let it manifest and collect what it is you have selected, projected and expected.
The main key to receiving what you want is to recognize that thoughts are energy and all the energy we put into worrying will bring more worry. If we create the vibrational energy that we do receive what we have decided upon and that it is like placing an order from a catalogue. Then we can expect it to manifest.
Here's the thing: I thing most of us are skeptical with fear and doubt and it is difficult to re-program our thinking to expect more...

Moving Forward Away From Fear
Most people might come up with a few of the standard inevitable answers like experiencing some kind of horrifying event like murder, maiming, mutilation...which usually implies they fear being a victim to someone else.
But what most people truly fear... is themselves. It is those disabling thoughts that limit our own potential.
For as long as I can remember, I have been had these disabling thoughts of doubt and disability. I have second guessed my own potenial and my own dreams. I had lofty dreams. Dreams that I could become someone that could make a difference.
I didn't want to be just an ordinary person with an ordinary life with ordinary things to define my existence. I wanted to make a difference. So I felt I had purpose. That I was special in some way. However, It became clear to me that when I shared my dreams of becoming a writer, or an artist, or an actor...those ideals were met with condescending patronization.
I know most of our generation has had this experience. Being told by someone who has credibility in our lives that we cannot achieve what we want. They then go about pointing us in a direction that they feel is more realistic, productive or based on their own limitations or experience.
These well-meaning words of wisdom and guidance about who and what we SHOULD become is based on fear that we might fail. But what is failure? Is it just the process of the journey? Practising our goals until they become firmly patterned in our experience.
So practise makes perfect. Yes, it does. Visualize your goals being fulfulled. Practise the way it will make you feel to achieve what you dream about. Set those thoughts in motion and move forward.
It is up to us to decide if we believe the limiting labels others have for us or move forward practising our own belief of our own dreams and bring into our existence those things we want.

I think...there's that word again...that if we started to shift our thoughts from what we think we need to what we know we want...then I think we can begin to identify how we can change the future sustainability for our own lives. It is about finding the joy, seeing the world with eyes of compassion and love. The world is a living breathing system of life.
If we started to view our own footprint on the planet in terms of each choice we make, conciously or unconsciously. If we became more aware of the ways that either added harm or brought health and restoration, I think we could easily define how much impact we can make, just by making a few small changes in how we preserve/conserve energy, the choices we make and the ways we think. Thinking in terms of cradle to cradle...instead of cradle to grave. Think in terms of renewable energy instead of fossil fuels that are rapidly being consumed. Think in terms of how to redesign our own systems so that they may replicate the systems of nature.
It doesn't take much to start to re-create our own footprint so that it has less impact. It takes thinking. Consciously thinking about the changes we can make to add to the mosaic of changes happening all over the planet...and add our own signature to that change.

Machinery of War
We have these same bloodlusts for war today. Integrating and indoctrinating our youth with the weapons of war in the form of realistic video games like Halo, Call of Duty and others. It puts the weapon into the hands of children, like those young boys recruited to kill or be killed at tender young ages. It can be disturbing. We have all heard the many horror stories of real life executions where young boys were ordered to kill their brothers, their fathers or best friend to prove their loyalty to their recruiters. Another machination and casualty of war?
What is happening to our society as the desensitization of the meaning of war is being played out with young boys picking up their X-Box controllers and picking out their arsenal of weapons to go and play virtual war on a virtual battlefield? Is this the new machinery of war? Just some questions?
Dreams...
You know as a kid, I used to sing that song…’Happiness is…two kinds of ice cream…finding a skate key…’ It made me happy to sing it and made some of those gloomy childhood days seem like I could float on a cloud of cotton candy if I wanted to!
Those days seemed to be filled with the paradigm shift of what society had determined were radical free thinkers…who wanted to make the “American Dream” available to ALL who wished to reach out and grab that brass ring! I had always been a bit of a dreamer and cry every time I hear that speech made by Martin Luther King…’I had a dream…’
We all have dreams, but what happens to them? I know for me, as a child, I had been indoctrinated into believing that happiness was elusive. I remember going to special event at our church where we were shown a film entitled ‘Man’s Search for Happiness.’ That raised a lot of questions for me. Why isn’t man already happy? I had wondered. What is the problem?
Well as I grew up, that title of the film stuck with me like a barnacle on a sunken ship. It seemed like the lofty dreams I had as a child had sunk with the realization that we are stuck like rats on a treadmill, just running and running and chasing after something, but we never can get there.
I have always longed to make a difference. I have always felt a higher calling to NOT have a traditional day job and to be of service to others. I have wanted to implement programs of art and culture to children who do not have the opportunity to see their dreams come true in THIS current society. Where elitism is the key to opportunity. If you have means, then by all means, the doors will be opened! But THAT is NOT FAIR!
I have always thought, there is enough for all. Our world is capable of surviving and sustaining and it shouldn’t be a RAT RACE. Who decided this was the way we all have to live to achieve our dreams? Well, I am closing in on that 50 yard line…and I don’t want to lose sight of any of my dreams …even those childhood dreams going unfulfilled.
I want be a able to facilitate art, music, drama, and culture programs to young people with the desire to see their dreams fulfilled…without it being elitist! I would like to see our educational system take a hard look at what it is teaching/indoctrinating into our youth. I think for the sake of our children, and the sustainability of our future and future generations, a definite shift needs to take place, where children reach out and see hope. Where they reach out and they can see a future where they can make a difference in achieiving their dream. THAT is MY DREAM! That is what makes me happy…that and two kinds of ice cream!
I look forward to taking that EXIT–Stage left…from my job…and start to live my dream!
