Well, the summer is flying by and once again, my pondering thought processes heat up! I often wonder about what stuff we are made of and in some of my long-term learning I have dug up a few things.
Okay, so we have heard the science of being carbon-based matter, and that we are essentially made up of about 60 per cent water, but what makes me wonder the most is what about the spaces inside the atoms and what percentage of that is actually a void? Yes, that nothingness. Well, we have all heard the statements about being comprised of energy.
Yes that is true, but what is the alchemy or scientific formula that we actually consist of? Gregg Braden's book the God Code has been one of my reading-re-reading companions for several years now, because just when I feel like I understand what he has written, I find new evidence that begins to support the deeper more complex meanings behind it all.
So, matter? What does it matter? I wonder why I have always had an insatiable appetite for this knowledge! It has led me to study deeper into the 11 parallel layers of the universe, the physics and quantum physics behind the smallest of particles to the very equations of the mass of our universe. Einstein broke it down into formulas. Stephen Hawking and Max Planck also have contributed their equations. But it seems we are just now understanding and deciphering the ancient clay tablets that were written thousands of years ago. Writings that, when interpreted, reveal air, water and fire as the three essential elements that creates everything else.
But where did it come from? Millions upon millions of years of meteor bombardment on this little cluster of rock we now call Earth? Meteors that contained the life-blood of our planet-hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon? Well, I won't bore you with more of my pondering for de-coding the very essence of the stuff we are made of. It it just has been heating up in my brain that sometimes works like a fountain, or a geyser! Check out Discovery Channel's Earth and it may get you thinking a little too deeply as well! Have a great week!

Butterfly Effects
Lately I have been invovled in re-framing my core beliefs to get down to the root of what I feel might be holding me back in some areas of my life. I looked at some of my stmbling blocks, that I have always known I have put up there myself as a good story for not always achieving what it is I set out to do.
Bieng a Type 1 personality, according to Carol Tuttle's Personality Profiling, I recognize a lot of my personality has to do with the exploration of new ideas, new concepts and always wanting to move forward and even take some risks that others might interpret as reckless. For the most part, some of my risk-taking has been a little too spontaneous and has reaped a wide range of consequences when I would leap before I looked. Lately I have become a little more cautious. But when I realized that, I decided I am always happiest when I make that gut instinct spontaneous intuitive or even impulsive decision. Some of my ideas spout off like a fountain of possibilities and I suppose that is good. What isn't good is when I procrastinate in taking action. That is where I need to be...in the place where you move forward with action!
So, back to pondering the re-framing. I feel sometimes I have struggled to become that person I want to be, partly because of my inability to put myself out there with action. So yesterday, I had a customer come into my store. The customer was quite noticibly disfigured from birth defects and she was also deaf. Her companion signed all communication to her, and she responded with very well articulated speech. I was surprised, almost shocked to hear such vocabulary and clarity. So I was assisting her with her order and decided not to treat her as a person with a disability or someone who is deaf, but like I would to a friend or colleague. I smiled and brought a different action to the experience...changing a belief that it is difficult to communicate with the deaf.
Then it struck me. She had a tatoo of a butterfly on the back of her leg and I realized, this girl must feel like she lives in a cocoon much of the time, not being able to hear what is around her...but then It hit me, she had broken free from that and was that beautiful butterfly.
I have used the analogy of the butterfly quite often, before the movie "Butterfly Effect" and Before Robert Allen's bestseller book. I recall a life lesson that I learned as a small child when I was probably about 11 years old, as my best friend and I watched as a butterfly was trying to break free from its cocoon. I remember wanting to help it out of its struggle and pry off all the white sticky stuff, but then an older gentleman walked by and saw us observing the butterfly in its predicament and said "The butterfly needs to struggle out of its cocoon in order to have the strength to fly."
I didn't imediately apply that metaphor to my own life, but over the years, that has been an underlying truth and a great teaching tool. So what effect does our struggles have on ourselves, and others, and how would be reframe our situations so that you can truly ask yourself, What would I be without this struggle? What is the timeframe, how long will it take to move forward? and What new possibilities am I creating for myself.

Transforming Systems for Sustainability
Hi there,
So glad you stopped by. Sandi here. Just a little about me:
I am a mother of four grown men and a grandmother to four - two boys and two girls. My family is the most important part of my life and I adore and admire each of them for the beauty, gifts, talents and joy they bring to my life and the world.
For many years, I have been involved in the media, so I am well acquainted with how that system works. Despite the mandate to remain un-biased and objective, most media have to sell their brand to turn a profit. In doing so, they realize that sensationalism sells. Those celebrity controversies, conspiracies and the car crashes and destruction are what they gravitate towards.
Globally, our world is changing. Systems are collapsing, and a new restructuring and transformation is taking place. As a mother, and grandmother, who has struggled to make ends meet, I have always held a certain hope and faith that my children and grand children will be able to live more prosperous and have access to better health systems than I did.
From my experience as a writer and journalist, we can allow ourselves to follow the path of the gloom and doom nay-sayers, who offer little or no hope for a sustainable future. However, I would like to think that as these systems fall away, what is emerging is the opportunity to build a healthier, more abundant and prosperous standard of living for all.
I believe in expansion of all things: vision, voice and vitality. I have dedicated much of my life supporting the changes of a new sustainable future. For me it begins with being healthy, both physically and spiritually. Understanding how our bodies function as a system can help us to understand how the world’s systems work and that everything is energy or as some may refer to as spirit.
I have been involved in many different systems and home based business marketing strategies, only to realize the systems used are not sustainable. Our society is evolving with the new transformations that are naturally occurring and those old ways of doing things are falling away as they no longer serve us.
What is important for us now is becoming part of a community that has the vision of long-term sustainability and support as this world transforms all of its system. I am excited to be a part of the transformation process as we shift our focus and take action to create new systems that will sustain our families and society for generations to come.

Contemplating the Warrior's War
War. We each are warriors. Warriors fighting a war.
Most of us who understand the transforming and awakening in society will say, "What? War? We want nothing do do with fighting, and want to promote unity, harmony and peace."
Ah, but this is what I am talking about. My teacher, The Maharaji has said we are all at war. What is the war we are fighting? We are fighting to be content, be at peace, have tranquility and serenity. Warriors armed with the sword of light and the shield of truth and knowledge will protect that peace from within.
It is our gift to know ourselves and protect ourselves from the lies that we are often confronted with on a daily basis. The beliefs that we believe and incorporate into our value system without knowing whether or not it is true. These can be called limiting beliefs and even lies.
I know these are harsh words that I write, when those who know me, know I try to take a brighter and more positive approach that explores possibilities, not focus on the war we are facing against limiting beliefs.
I have spoken often about our lives and our beings as being filled with light and energy. It is this light that I am profoundly and infinitely connected to, as are you. We are all connected. We are all part of the same light source and that source energy is what fuels us to move forward, making advancements in science, technology, art, music and literature.
As an advocate of "knowing" and "awakening" to know that we can all participate in this transformation process, it is so thriling. It is a knowledge that gives us the wealth, prosperity and security we need. Knowing that peace, tranquility, serenity, truth, light and love are there -- right there inside you.
